One Line Is All I GOT

I’m not afraid to fail, but I’m scared of second-guessing myself, which could lead me to talking myself out of opportunities.

Do you second-guess yourself? If so, why?

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

  1. I do. I think second-guessing oneself comes with the territory of overthinking and being fearful.

Sometimes I have to remind myself that if there isn’t fear, it won’t change me or allow me to grow. When I do this, it’s easier not to fall victim to second-guessing myself.

  2. This is such a relatable and insightful fear. Second-guessing is the quiet thief of opportunity, often disguised as prudence. I think we all do it—our minds, trying to protect us from uncertainty, can become overzealous guards at the door of our own potential. Your awareness of it is the first and most powerful step to disarming it. Thank you for sharing such a honest and important reflection.

  3. It is easy to second guess ourselves. There can be lots to consider. When I’m unsure, I try to take time away and ground myself. I think, for the most part, if we can quiet ourselves and listen to our inner guidance we can feel more at ease with our decisions.

Your one lines always offer reflection ❤️

  4. I used to second-guess myself a lot but thankfully don’t do that as much anymore. Loved the line and I agree, it leads us to missing out on opportunities. We should always try, even if we fail at lease we tried.
