Is there a Shark in your TANK?

We all can hope, right?

Okay, maybe they aren’t real sharks, or maybe they are, but in human form.

My 13-year-old has a talent for getting me hooked on shows I would pass up without her. All of the shows are older than she is or close to it, and when they initially popped on TV, I turned the channel. But I’ve found that once she shows an interest, I then show one as well.

The SHARK TANK

If you haven’t seen it, let me explain;
Six billionaires allow regular folks to pitch their product or business to them, with hopes that one or more of the sharks becomes their investor/business partner.

I believe we are on season five now, and let me tell you, I have learned so much about business. Even though I have a degree in Marketing and Advertising, there is still so much to learn, and listening to experts has sparked something in my soul.

Back in the day, I had a product that I should have acted on, but I didn’t know what the hell I was doing, so my prototype was snatched right from under me!

I went about everything ass backward and didn’t secure my idea the way I should have, but ya know ya live and ya learn. And I refuse to cry over spilled milk. Besides, it was 16 years ago, my life is blessed, and I never shed a tear over it. But my husband and I did have some good laughs about it.

Anywho, let’s get into this question.

Daily writing prompt
Tell us about the last thing you got excited about.

Well, let me tell you, after watching this show, I have my mojo back. I figured you only live once, so go big or go home. And I ain’t going home, so yeah, I’m going big and pretty damn excited about it.

I’m looking forward to sharing some goodness with my blog fam in a few months.

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

  3. I’ve never seen a real episode of Shark Tank, but I did see the Grace & Frankie episode when they were on it pitching their product. Kind of like seeing the real thing, right?

  4. My mother and I used to watch that Shark Show out of boredom when nothing else really was on. I do remember it years back with Barbara Corcoran and Daymond John.

    Great that it helped you in enhancing your game plans.
