Now you all know that you want to be in the best shape of your life this summer so let’s go!!!! The weather is now turning and I am ready to throw on a bathing suit and head to the beach. Who’s with me?
Okay, let me break this down. I am sick and tired of summertime rolling around and I’m sitting here feeling like an Oompa Loompa in my shorts. To hell with that, not this year! I am about to live my best life while getting my life. Let me tell you how.
On Monday, April 29th I am starting my 30 day Get Fit With Kelli Challenge. During this challenge, I will lay out what workouts you are to do for the week. The workouts will consist of:
- HIIT Drills
- MOST OF ALL FUNNNNNNNNN
I want everyone to commit to working out for 60 minutes EVERYDAY. You can choose to break it up and do 20, 20, 20 or 30, 30 or the method that I recommend 60 minutes all at once.
Here are my stats from last week. This will give you an idea of what I aiming for during the next 30 days.
It is so important to raise your heart rate every day and to drink at least half your body weight in water.
Secondly, Rest make sure you are getting enough rest. What’s enough rest? For me, this means 8 hours but we are all different so it is important to find out what works for your body. Without rest, weight loss goals will not be met because your body responds best when you are fully recovered from the day before. For instance, I remember being in college and studying for my exams. I had 6 classes that required me to be rested if I wanted to recall all the material. I couldn’t stay up late night after night and think that I would successfully get through my classes. Your body works the exact same way.
Lastly, and the most important piece that will change your life is the nutrition aspect of this challenge. Let me speak for myself and say that if I eat whatever I want and then go to the gym and damn near kill myslef for 3 hours I will lose 0 pounds. As a matter of fact, I will blow up and gain enough weight to get me through winter hibernation. Oh, wait I’m not a bear, but I can definitely eat like one and sound like one if you try to take my plate away. But I have changed the way I see food and I will give it my all to help you as well.
