Saturday Fit Tip ~Talk To Me Nice~

It’s easy to look at yourself and nitpick at everything you see!

We’ve all done it. It doesn’t matter how well put together you seem to others; we will zero in on that dimple we see on our thighs or a little bit of arm jiggle. The list goes on and on.

And it’s not like you feel better about yourself after you cut down every inch of your body. Talking that way will not make you want to change what you see. You are already defeated before you start one exercise.

First step in making positive changes to your body

Look in the mirror and pick out five things you love about yourself. It can be internal, external, or a mixture of both. Then write them down and stick them to your mirror. Now every morning, read that list five times out loud. Do this for an entire week.

At the end of the first week, take the list down and write five more things that you love about yourself. Do the same thing you did the first week. And then repeat this for week three and week 4.

When you reach the end of week 4, I guarantee you will feel better about yourself. But more importantly, you will find yourself trying to impress YOURSELF. Talking nice will cause you to take measures that will push you in a positive direction. You’re going to want to add things to that list each week, therefore causing you to make better choices for your health.

Talking nice can and will take you much further than constantly criticizing everything you see. Your mental health will be in a much better place!

Start your list today and watch how it makes you feel.

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!
