Ring the ALARM

If you feel it, ring it!

If you have yet to reach the point where you need to ring your fitness alarm, trust and believe you will. We all will, and no one will escape the bell.

We will all face a few things in life, and ringing the alarm is one of them!

Well, let me rephrase that, ringing the alarm SHOULD be one of them. Unfortunately, however, as you know, we have a problem in the United States. Approximately two out of three adults are overweight, and one out of three is obese. This is a serious issue, and clearly, more people should be ringing the alarm.

Not a sign of weakness

Knowing you need help and reaching out is not a sign of weakness. On the contrary, going to your doctor for guidance and saying, my metabolism is off, I’m gaining weight at a rapid speed, and I need help is a sign of strength.

Doing something to change your life is a huge step towards taking your power back and avoiding being a statistic. But not only that, you will avoid the endless amount of medication doctors like throwing at you for one thing and another. Mediation is a topic that pisses me off, and I hate seeing doctors hand out medication like it’s candy.

It’s not a sign of weakness if you research your medications

It’s not a sign of weakness if you ask for help

It’s not a sign of weakness if you speak up about your health

It’s not a sign of weakness if you ask for help

It’s not a sign of weakness to RING THE ALARM

If you’re overweight or obese, guess what? You aren’t the first, and you won’t be the last. You are not weak, so show how strong you are by RINGING THE ALARM.

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

I do our grocery shopping..the number of people that have to lean onto their grocery carts as they move around looking for something…it’s unreal….and I assume some have children…..we have a PM and few leaders that are active run, bikle, and get rideculed for that…..but I think that’s where it begins…

  3. This is it right here, Bella. People are made to feel badly for the struggle when the truth of the matter is, they are barraged with get thin quick scams and like you said, an industry that pushes the meds rather than focusing on the individuals true needs.
