What are you doing to look after yourself today?
I’ll go first.
I’m currently drinking warm lemon water with my Bubbly Rose Love Candle lit( this fragrance is so relaxing) while wearing a facial mask. I’m spending more time on my skin and prioritizing self-care for my skin. After I take off my mask, I’m going to dance like no one is watching, even though my dog Larry is always watching and looking judgy.
If he could talk, I know he would tell me to sit down and do something constructive!
After my dance session, I’m going to the spa to sit in the sauna for 30 minutes. The sauna is the only thing I miss about the gym I used to belong to. However, I don’t miss the naked ladies and the crowded space.
Yes, there are facilities where women gather in all their naked glory while in the sauna, but this gym had signs that specifically stated, “clothes must be worn.” And not only did they ignore the sign, but a few naked ladies chose to do yoga in the sauna, and we all know how freeing yoga poses are. So yeah, there’s that!

2. The imagery of the naked yoga in the sauna is a hard no for me.
3. It’s my Lent double. I made myself a healthy breakfast, took my dog for a walk before work, and straightened my hair/did my makeup extra nice to give my confidence a boost before this long shift on my feet.
4. When I am off in 8 hours from now, I am going to take a hot shower and use some lotion afterwards. Maybe do a foot scrub if my dogs are barking.

They had ZERO shame!!!!! We even complained to management and they still did it 😫

I cannot believe the, I’ll just call it abnormal people in this world anymore. It’s just in the last several years people have gone nuts. That’s why I’m trying to stick to Christians to follow on here. I have had one helluva year with the nutjobs.

It sounds a truly delicious day of self care and self love. I can almost smell the rose candle and lemon water together to be so heavenly soothing. Oh the sauna imagery is not pretty lol.

I wrote my morning pages and then walked five miles. Those two things always make me feel great.
Relaxing candles, wearing a nutritivr mask, listening music, an special time for us sounds amazing. We need to have those kind of things, are blessings. Agree with you, we need to have modesty, cares about our body and soul. Thank’s for share dear Belladonna.

Guuurrrrrllll, I am laughing my behind off about Judge Larry! 🤣😜😂 Honey, I love the way you dedicate and incorporate those meaningful things during your “me” time. I not too long ago finished mowing the lawn and trimming some tree branches. I honestly enjoy yard work because I connect to the great outdoors and it is quite therapeutic. 🙏🏼 I feel grounded (no pun intended). But afterwards, girl my coconut Epsom Salts with baby oil and my other bathing accoutrements was the cherry on top! Yes!!!
