Karma has a mean right hook!
I’ve done wrong; therefore, I know when wrong has been done to me.
To say that we are all perfect is telling a bald-faced lie. We all make mistakes, but we have the power to either continue to make them or learn from them and do better.
Quick Story Time
This past Summer, I was at the lowest I’ve ever been. Y’all were right there with me when my heart broke as I dropped my son off at college. Saying goodbye to him sent me into a major depression. And I will never forget the day I discovered my heartbreak and depression were a laughing matter to a few people. I had no idea that they felt that way about m. And for the life of me, I can’t think of one thing I did to make them say or wish ill will on me.
Maybe living, breathing, and being happy are enough to trigger disturbed folks.
To say that my feelings were crushed is an understatement!
I wanted to jump in my car and do some damage, but instead, I prayed to God for him to calm my nerves and allow me to forget and forgive. All I wanted him to do was heal my heart and give me the decency and enough self-respect to go high as they were going low (shout out to Michele Obama).
Continuing to do wrong to others will only make you come face to face with Karma and her mean right hook. And the left hook is nothing to sneeze at, either. I am currently watching her whip all their asses from the front door to the back door.

So sorry that you’ve had to deal with such insensitive people around you.

Maybe living, breathing, and being happy are enough to trigger disturbed folks. – this is a sad reality and a brutal truth when the best of us get consumed by the darkness of depression – we can literally know what is happening and it still happens, the downslide and all we need is kindness. It is difficult to get lessons of not expecting that from people at that exact same time. Growth certainly happens from all of it, though difficult it is certainly. Wishing you your positive vibes and smiles always!!
Thank you!!! Depression darkens everything. I’ve been there before and it hurt to see positive things and people that were happy. I remember after my grandfather passed, I couldn’t stand to be around laughter.

It’s so true! When some people at work stabbed my husband in the back after he had gone out of his way to help them, it was so demoralizing! But we have watched over the years as each one of them has fallen on hard times. You really do reap what you sow.
