Somedays will be tough to navigate, and other days will be a breeze!
The tough days will set you apart for the talkers and the doers.
Every January, millions upon millions of us will verbalize what we want to change in our lives, but we need to do what is required in order to achieve our goals. For example, we can think of 101 reasons we can’t stick to our fitness goals. And to yourself, all the reasons sound so good until you say them out loud.
Plan for March
It doesn’t matter if you messed up in January and then again in February. It’s time to focus on March. Those months are in the past, and there isn’t anything you can do about that. However, you can correct all your wrongs by committing to doing better this month.
Today you can choose to Look After Yourself by making a plan that will allow you to win!
Step 1
Dream big and then scale back and then scale back again. The reason for scaling back is mainly because, when we choose to take better care of ourselves, we get AHEAD of ourselves, making you feel overwhelmed and defeated shortly after we begin.
Step 2
Hang around people with similar goals as you. The people in your circle are a clear representation of yourself.
Positive people attract positive energy. Negative people attract negative energy.
Step 3
Show up every day around the same time and do the work—NO EXCUSES: I don’t doubt you will come up with a few.
How do I know? Glad you asked. I know this because excuses are like assholes; we all have one.
Step 4
Say something nice about yourself and only compare yourself to yourself. No one in this world is better than you, and it’s time for you to own that truth.
Step 5
Look after Yourself every day. If you don’t do it, then who will?
Today is your day to begin again on your fitness journey, and if you mess up, don’t give up!
