The sweetest of dreams

One of the tricky things about nighttime is the constant overthinking.

It feels as though 100 thoughts can pop into your head all at once, and you can only stare into the dark and overthink. All problems seem bigger at night, maybe because it’s quiet and you can finally deal with pain, trauma, illness, deceit, etc., alone.

You can hear yourself think.

But what does losing sleep over a problem solve? Nothing!

Do yourself a favor and rest so that your rested and clear mind can go into a new day with hope and love.

Good night and sweet dreams!

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

  1. It’s as if my mind is on steroids in the middle of the night. I try and stop my thoughts but it’s futile. Getting up, finding some paper and writing down my thoughts seems to be the only way to put them to rest. Hugs, C

    1. That’s been me all this week. So last night I thought maybe I’m supposed to talk to God right now. So I did and I tell ya it was just what I needed.
Writing is such a therapeutic way to calm yourself so you can enjoy and good night of rest. Hope you are having a fantastic day.

  2. Worrying is a habit. But the positive side is you may find a solution to a nagging problem. Though the flipside is at the cost of becoming an insomniac.
