No one would choose to keep hitting a brick wall when trying their damndest to lose weight.
Losing weight and getting into shape should be fun and consistent. Yes, there I said it, it should be something that you do for the rest of your life. So that means you should take it slow and steady and occasionally shock your body. No, not electrical shocks but life shocks.
Let me explain.
Shock your body
On the days that you know you will have lower activity, you need to do a cleanse. Drink a gallon or so of water, eat salads, cucumbers, carrots and make a spinach shake or what I like to call Green Juice. If you feel like the first day was a breeze, add another day to your cleanse. A body shock is something I like to do once a month.
This will cause: (a few of the benefits)
- your stomach to naturally shrink
- lessen the amount of food it usually takes to get you to that full feeling.
- cleanse your digestive system
- a reduction in blood pressure
- your cholesterol level to lower
- you to gain clarity
Next step
After completing your 1-3 days cleanse, you want to incorporate more calories back into your diet. Then continue with your usual workouts but with an added twist. AHHHHHH, what’s that added twist, you say?
It is nothing other than a QUICK CARDIO BURST. There are a plethora of cardio bursts to choose from. It can be as simple as jumping jacks to skipping/running in place or kick it up a notch by doing burpees.
Whatever you choose, the repetitions should stay the same. So push yourself and complete no less than 5-6 sets of 5 repetitions. And when you feel like giving up, DO ANOTHER SET.
If you make these small changes to your diet, your life will change as well!
Cheers to a happy and healthy life!
You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!
~Belladonna~
Belladonna, you got some serious energy there my dear. I don’t think my body would thank me if I jumped in the air like that. It would probably say, “Bitch, are you crazy?” 🤣🤷🏽♀️🏋🏽♀️🙅🏽♀️💃🏽🙆🏽♀️😂
Bahahahahahahaha!!!! I just spit out my wine 🤣🤣🤣
🤣🍷😆🍾😂
A lot of folks don’t know. When you train in the Army. One hour, five days a week. You over-work the body. 500 push-up and 500 sit-up. Four mile run and grass drills dear Belladonna. When you test the body. You gain strength.
Yes Army trading is very difficult. I pretty sure that’s when my love for fitness began.
You are right dear Belladonna. Need difficult workout to become stronger.
For sure John! I hope you have a fantastic day💖
