The Best Dark Chocolate Protein Shake

Are you looking for a good reason to wake up in the morning?

Well, buckle up, cowboys, because I have a treat for you…you…and you. This chocolate protein shake is sure to give you everything you need and desire to have in the cup.

I wake up every morning and drink 32 ounces of water, 4 ounces of pineapple juice and 4 ounces of orange juice or my Green Juice, and then a cup of pure cranberry juice. AND then comes my PROTEIN PACKED TREAT.

Chocolate Protein Shake

  •  1 banana
  • 1 scoop of chocolate protein
  • 2 tbs of chia seeds
  • 1 tsp peanut butter
  • 1-2 cups Almond breeze dark chocolate milk
  • A hand full of ice

Blend and Enjoy!

This particular shake is a great post-workout meal as well.

    Ooooh, girl! Might want to rethink all those juices, they are chocker block full of sugar! The water and shake are great ideas though! What is your favorite protein?
    Not sure my routine is perfect either. I start with a sip or two of water, an ACV gummy, and then my bulletproof coffee (hot coffee mixed with 1T butter, 1T coconut oil, 1pkt of stevia, and a dash of Ceylon cinnamon whipped up in a blender cup). Then it’s water with lemon or lime in it or iced tea off and on the rest of the day. And I chew sugar free gum. That helps me get in the groove to write. I just started with 20 minute indoor workouts while it’s cold, but I miss my walks outside. Maybe I can bundle up and go this afternoon 😊

    1. Yes girlie that is a lot of juice but I switch it up and all the juices except for the orange juice is pure juice so the taste is something you have to get use to 😵‍💫

      But if I have extra sugar it’s to hold me up for a 90 minute strength and cardio training.

      I usually use a store brand of vegan protein because it’s easier for me to digest and store brand taste just as good as as any other protein I’ve ever had and it’s cost efficient 🙌🏾😍😍

      1. I don’t know if they have Ollies where you live, but they have a cheap collagen peptide protein that is tasteless in smoothies and shakes!

      2. No I never heard of Ollies but I’ll look up the product you mentioned. The one I have is a Publix brand. Do you have a Publix?

      3. Not that I know if, but I’ve heard of them. No, we have Sam’s and Costco, Walmart, Kroger, Albertsons, Ollie’s, and Aldi’s for the most part. ☺️

      4. I’ll have to check it out, just at a different Kroger. The one close to me was the one I went to with my parents, now that they are gone, I just don’t want to go in there. Does that sound weird?

      5. No not at all! I was the same way girl about so many of my favorite spots I went to with my granddfather.
