Repost: I remember what I was feeling when I wrote this. More so I remember how my heart was feeling. As I wrote this I released so much anxiety.
Will You forgive me when my world grows dark
When my chest rises for the last time
When the doctor closes my eyes shut
Will you forgive me then
Who I am is nothing you dreamed of
When I speak the words you hear are hot and burns your soul
When your eyes meet mine I feel the distance and it’s cold
Who I am is someone with a soul that you chose to disown
When I’m gone
Will you then choose to forgive me for being everything you hated
And remember me well
