I have no idea what took me so long to share this!

FYI; I chose this picture because this what my hair looked like after all that cooking.

On Labor Day weekend, I had the pleasure of cooking for my two college kids. They were home for the weekend and ready to EAT. So before they arrived, I went shopping and grabbed all the ingredients for their favorite meals.

In another post, I will share the recipe for each dish; in fact, look for the first one tomorrow.

Side note my son was 5 pounds heavier when he returned to school (Yes, I was proud).

Below pictures are displayed in this order

  1. Lamb with Mint Sauce
  2. Macaroni and Cheese
  3. Cornbread
  4. Pretzel Chicken Fingers
  5. Taquitos
  6. Mild Salsa
  7. Spicy Salsa
  8. Lemonade
  9. Cheesy Tacos
  10. Watermelon Salad
  11. Apple Cobbler
  12. French Toast with Banana Foster

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

    1. Thank you Paula! This is the best mac & cheese I’ve made and I cannot wait to share the recipe. And the cobbler I’ve actually already shared that recipe in the past it’s so good the winner and a go to for a quick easy delicious dessert.

  1. wow…yeah, but the kids….when my son was a college he’d come home for the weekend looking like he’d been hiking in a forest and hadn’t slept or eaten for the previous 10 days lol
