Look After Yourself Friday

Take your peace back by any means necessary.

One thing that everyone can become a pro at is; avoiding people that aren’t for you.

When I look back on the people that used to be in my life, I stop and think, why are they out of my life now? But the biggest question is, do I want them back?

Well, the answer is easy, if you are out of my life, it’s primarily due to me changing ME so that I could coexist with them. That’s the dumbest thing you can ever do. You should never lose who you are so that others can find comfort. NOOOO! That will never work long-term.

And as far as the second question is concerned, I never want something that didn’t feel good back in my life. I don’t have a desire to rekindle an old friendship if I never grew from it. So if I didn’t grow from it before, why would I now?

If this resonates with you, take every step you need to order to start fresh.

  1. Don’t try to fit in
  2. Stand out
  3. Be comfortable with being alone until you find your tribe
  4. Spend time working on you
  5. Read your bible….(my saving grace)
  6. Speak positivity over your life
  7. Trust your instincts
  8. Be true to yourself

Look after yourself by being picky about who you let into your life!

I hope you all are having a beautiful Friday!

Please leave me one thing you do to look after yourself.

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

      1. The moment you start valuing yourself more, you won’t be bothered to fit in nowhere! Trying to catch up with some blog posts:-)

  1. Very sound advice, Belladonna. What has been difficult for me in taking my peace back is that I had to distance myself from my mother, recently deceased, and siblings. I know that healing will only come in learning to forgive myself and each one of them. Blessings ❤

    1. I and I know so many others can relate to this. I only have a relationship with one of my siblings, my mother and I never talk and we’ve never been close. So I get it.
Forgiving takes a long time but it helps to surround yourself with people that truly loves you.
Thank you so much for sharing. Blessings to you Rosaliene 💜💜
