Test your comfort zone

Stepping outside of your comfort zone can be a scary place to be!

But I dare you, no, I triple dog dare you try it.

What’s one thing you can do to step outside your comfort zone?

This week I have done a number of things that pull me kicking and screaming out of my comfort zone. And well, at first, I thought to myself, nope, I’m returning to my normal ways. But was I happy there is the question?

The answer is NO!

Testing my zone

I’ve always wanted to become softer. You know, let people into my heart and pour out affection. It’s easy for me to do that with my kids and husband, but that’s where it stops. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t tell my people that I love them and give them hugs.

But today, I needed to step a little further than that. So I decided to text two friends and be transparent about how I felt about them. I needed them to know how much I love them, how grateful I am to have them in my life, and how I would be incomplete if I had never met them.

Their response blew me away!

They were both giving me realness. So here we are, three women empowering each other. Finding a new comfort never felt so good…. this is where I belong!

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

  3. I stumbled onto a podcast yesterday with Reese Witherspoon, Abby Wambach, and Glennon Doyle. Reese said—Friendships are a life-giving force…a deposit and withdrawal system. The whole conversation was really good. You made a deposit with your friends. They gave back. ❤️
