Crockpot Apple Cobbler

Happy Tuesday! I am so happy that you found your way here to Belladonna’s Flashlight. I have an amazing, quick and easy dessert for y’all to try.

Ingredients

  • 5-6 Large apples
  • 2 tbs Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 2-3 Cups Sparkling apple cider
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 Stick of butter
  • 1 Box of yellow cake mix
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract

Let’s cook!

  • Thinly slice apples
  • In a large bowl mix cinnamon, brown sugar, nutmeg, cider, vanilla extract
  • Toss apples in the bowl and give it a good stir
  • Add all contents in the bowl to your crockpot
  • sprinkle yellow cake mix on top
  • Thinly slice the butter and lay it across the top of the cake mix
  • Turn the crockpot on HIGH
  • Cook for 2-3 hours
  • Add ice cream and your choice of nuts or anything else you choose

      1. I got out BUT the electricians were here for the bathroom renovations and they turned off the electricity for part of the afternoon so this will have to wait until tomorrow. You understand.

      1. It takes me five minutes (literally) to drive home from the supermarket and the ice cream has started to melt. Everyone wears clinical strength anti-perspirant…😁🌞

      1. Oh, do I know. 😜 I got an apple pie I just took out of the oven (and no, I don’t have the culinary skills like you), its from Marie Callenders! 🥧 I’m going all in, with every delicious calorie and dare anyone to say anything! 😂😆🤣
