Look back at it. Time for a healthy change

It’s time to change so you can look back at it with a smile!

We are built to do the impossible. Our body has the ability to reach beyond our wildest dreams. All we have to do is NOT GIVE UP!

Have you ever heard anyone say;

“The best things in life are worth fighting for.”

~Or how about~

“Anything worth having is worth fighting for.”

Both of those statements are so true, and I firmly believe that most of us give up too soon before reaching a whole new level in our life. We spend entirely too much time looking back at the things;

That hurt us

Left us broken

Tore down our self-esteem

Stomped on our vision and goals

And every time we use our energy focusing on the negative, we tend to stray away from the things that will heal us. Then we find ourselves taking ten steps back, and you’ve come too far to stumble now—good things lie ahead of us.

What looking back makes me think of

When you watch athletes compete, they very rarely, if ever, look back at their competition because every second counts. For example:

  1. A basketball player’s shot would be blocked if they were to turn around right before they made that slam dunk.
  2. A sprinter doesn’t look back even when the baton is passed. They have practiced and marked the placement ahead of them. When they reach that spot, AHEAD of them, they do a behind-the-back no-look grab.
  3. A running back looks at the football thrown ahead of him, not the defense which is making every attempt to outrun him.

ONE thing I know for sure is that if we focus on what lies ahead of us, we will go a lot further. And we should only look back when we want to measure how far we’ve come.

It’s time to do great things!

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!
