“Whenever you’re going through a bad day, just remember, your track record for getting through bad days, so far, is 100%. That’s pretty darn good.”~UNKNOWN~
How many times have you taken a picture, looked at it, and then deleted it right away? And your first thought maybe, “there is no way I’m posting that picture” because it’s not good enough.
I have deleted more pictures than I wish to remember and lots of memories right along with it. But that was until I thought about all things that bring me joy and why I feel what I feel.
Why we should LOVE our bad days
How would you know that you’re having a good moment without experiencing bad moments? Likewise, how would you know that your pictures look good without comparing them to bad ones?
I’ve grown to love those bad pictures because I like to compare how I look now versus then, which is why before and after pictures are a must! But, unfortunately, my clients hate taking ‘before’ pictures because they aren’t feeling their best. So I have to convince them that in three months, they will show off their before pictures like a proud new parent would of their baby.
Your bad days can be viewed in the same fashion.
Every day we are faced with obstacles, and some will be worse than others, but without them, we won’t grow into our best selves. Trials and tribulations make you stronger. Those bad days will weed out the weak individuals from the strong ones. When you learn to embrace and LOVE those bad days, you’ll be better equipped to handle them effortlessly.
Good days are recognized, earned, deserved, respected, and meant to be enjoyed because you have mastered the art of falling in LOVE with the bad days.
LOVE them, grow for them, and know bad days won’t last always.
