The Porn Spam

Porn will not leave me alone!

So here I am minding my own damn business, and up pops a comment from some random porn site. I clicked on the comment, not realizing that it’s a porn site, and to my surprise, I see many clips of people showing all their glory and then some. I SCREAMED because what in the sexual hell is going on?

First off, I don’t watch porn; I think it’s degrading to women. And when I was younger, I did catch a porn or two and was disgusted at how rough the women were treated, and sexual acts were more beneficial to the men than women. Maybe they aren’t all that way, but I grew too bored and too disinterested to find out.

So with that being said, I don’t know why my WordPress blog was targeted for random comments from a porn site. Oddly enough, the spam comments keep appearing on only one post I wrote over a year ago!

This now leads me to a question, does anyone else have any issues with a porn site?

If so, DON’T click on it. As I stated previously, I clicked on that darn link to see this particular user’s blog before I replied. Unfortunately, this is something I often do, and this time it almost ruined my laptop. After a few hours of cleaning out my computer, I finally cleared away the malicious link.

So if you see a shady link, don’t click on it. Delete and move on. Getting rid of the porn spam may cost you hours you can’t get back.

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

  1. Yuck. I haven’t had that particular problem for a while. WP is good at catching the vape and casino spam and deleting it for me. Idk why people bother…

  2. WordPress kinda keeps the spam away from me, thankfully. But I’m also rather adamant about not responding or clicking on a name/site I don’t know here. I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with that nonsense.

  3. Girl Belladonna, how do you manage to make a serious concern so dang funny? 😜 Loved this: “I SCREAMED because what in the sexual hell is going on? 🤣😆😂 I do get those sites showoing up, and fortunately 99.9% of them go to my spam folder. Sadly, some of my legitimate comments go there too, but I just go through them and permanently delete the ones that are obviously spam! 🤬 SMDH, it’s obvious that a lot of people don’t have a daggone thing to do! Unfreaking real!

    1. Girl they have a boring sad life if they have time to just send out porn. And if you have to look at porn on WordPress then ma’am or sir you have a problem!🤣
I as well have comments that don’t belong in spam so that’s why I check it on a regular basis and everyday I get at-least one porn comment.

  4. I hate that stuff. There is no explanation why a person gets targeted with that stuff, but you are right it’s best to spend the time getting rid of the link.

So glad im not the only woman who thinks this way about porn it is so degrading and after hearing stories from some of the porn stars i just didnt want to watch or support that type of thing but anyways… i am so grateful that with my hosting or a plugin im not sure but i dont have any spam at all i belive its added directly to spam thru my hosting service so i glance at those coments and throw them in the trash they never show up on my site at all maybe its because u have a higher amount of commentors? 6. I feel you on that. There are a lot of those sites out there and tons of bots. Most social media accounts are filled with all that. You think someone nice dropped a comment, nope bot with a icky link to something we are not concern with.

  7. One of my solution, for which I use on the lighter basis, I have 3 browsers installed on my computer. I use 2, but one is special for when I not to certain about a link, it can be anything someone sends me, I use DuckDuckGo for incognito and privacy. I can’t me my right tech background mind try to click on links I don’t know from my phone, especially if done from an Android, in today’s age we are simply just asking for it.

  8. over the years I see WordPress fight spam more and more effectively.

yeah a lot of porn is bad against woman and as a pastor I’m afraid of how “normalized” certain things are with those who are young and special needs who have seen pornography…
