Can I see your credentials, please?
At least that’s what I felt like writing in my community group chat. I have thought about deleting myself from the conversation. But I want an instant notification if there is a break-in or any other concerning issues within my community. However, my neighbors are testing my patients.
Not only do they constantly send out messages about “suspicious vehicles” that seem to be driving slowly in the neighborhood. Then, after a flood of messages, we learn that the car belongs to a friend within the community.
I swear they are paranoid and downright annoying!
To add to their already irritating behavior, they now have become judges. Now I don’t know who the judges are precisely, but they go around the neighborhood and see who has the best lawns, Halloween, and Christmas decorations. I think you can tell by my pisstivity that I’ve never won any of the contests. And let me add, my lawn is immaculate with beautiful flowers, my holiday decorations are always above and beyond. Yet here I am…. still a loser!
So you can imagine my reaction when a message appears on the community group chat this weekend that read;
And the winners for the best Christmas decorations are…… NOT ME!
So naturally, I hopped in my car and began cruising through my hood to compare all the decorations. Needless to say, they did not outdo me, not even close. In fact, one of the winners had the skimpiest lights on their bushes, and a tired-looking little reindeer that looked like a child built it.
You may not be beable to tell, but I’m over it…. okay, kind of. First, however, I need to know who these so-called judges are and then take a peep at their credentials. Then maybe just maybe I’ll be content with losing.
But more importantly I really want to know….”who hired ya’ll “?!!
You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!
