Is it just me, or do you think the world has gone mad?
When the world began to open back up slowly, I noticed an increase in the amount of anger that’s shown daily. People are angry on the road, in grocery stores, car wash, and at Micheals. I thought everyone was happy once they walked through Micheals’s doors.
I mean geesh, they have arts and crafts, Christmas trees are being brought out. So you can indeed be your best self in that place and learn how to construct a new craft and take in the joy.
But nope, evil is lurking around every corner and just waiting for your smiling face to walk towards its miserable presence.
Short Story Alert
The other day, I walked through the grocery store, checked off my list, and threw all my goodies in my cart. The store wasn’t too busy, but it was busy enough to run into a few impatient folks. You can tell that they wanted everyone out of their way, but nope honey, we all need to be here. So deal with it!
So here I am, heading down my last aisle to grab Blue Bell butter pecan ice cream. If you’ve never tried it: I suggest you run out and pick it up. Anyway, this evil lady stood lurking in the freezer; she left her cart at the end of the aisle and right in the center. I couldn’t go left or right, so I looked at her; and said, “Can you please move your cart.”
AND WELL, the rage that took over her face was insane!
She looked at me with eyes of fury and mumbled, “You could go around to the right.”
I said, “excuse me”!
She then snatched her cart like a madwoman, and I imagine she has fangs and claws, but she kept them intact for now. So the cart went flying back, and she repeated, “you could have gone to the right.”
Well, how dare you evil Mcstuffy pants! I told her,” if I could’ve, then I would’ve done just that. But you put your cart in the center like you’re the only one here. She then turned her head, mumbled a few things, and stared deeply into the freezer.
I asked her to repeat herself, and with suspicious eyes, she said, “I said, have a great day”!
When I walked away, all I could think was IF Covid was a PERSON, it would be her.

OMG Belladonna, I agree 💯 that everybody is angry, but nobody knows why. So we got a bunch of angry crazed lunatics wreaking havoc and BS on innocent people, and they are pissed off because the sun is out, or it’s raining outside, and they can’t control it. I get you girl (although I am more in love with Breyer’s Butter Pecan Ice Cream)! 🍦🤣
I have encountered people like her whether in a grocery store or recently in our neighborhood Krispy Kreme Doughnut shop I was in a few days ago. This man who was two people behind me acted like an ass, came up to the front of the line where I was, as I was paying for my dozen of assorted doughnuts 🍩🍩🍩, telling the cashier with a raised voice that he needed to help other people. I ignored him, smiled with the cashier, and told him thank you for his patience and I appreciated his help. Mr. Asshole was so bold as to tell him he wanted 3 doughnuts and jumped in front of the people who were in front of him. Ticked me off, but I had a very sharp pocket knife 🔪 on the end of my keychain and all I had to say was, “Don’t start nothin’, it won’t be nothin’!” 🤜🏽🤛🏽

I tell you folks are crazy and act as if the world revolves around them. So impatient!!! Ain’t no way he needed a donut that bad and the nerve to cut in front of people and interrupt your order.

Yeah people have definitely become meaner/angrier. I’m not sure if they were always like that and covid brought out the worst in them or if they used to be nicer. Its scary…
