Quick tip!
Tell your kids to put left over rice in the trash and not the garbage disposal.
The other day my daughter made rice and it was beyond dry. She didn’t put enough water in the rice maker. So my other daughter dumped it down the drain and $200.00 later we had an unclogged drain.

You could have chosen any blog to read but you chose mine and I’m honored!

Grim satisfaction that is it not only my children who make boneheaded decisions that cost me oodles of money. Recover that from her child tax rebate next month? “I was going to just give you this $250, but… well… rice…”

Which gives me more reason to be thankful that I can take those unwanted for any reason food stuffs and toss them out into the woods for the racoon and possum and the odd cat that shows up too late for the real meals.
