Are You Listening

How many ignore our calling?


We may assume that we are too old to pursue our dreams, or better yet, we feel like our dreams are too big and out of our league.

But if that calling keeps calling you, why would you ignore it. We only have a short amount of time on this earth, and we should, without a doubt, make the most of it.

    So true, and there is always someone who wish to tarnish the calling with name calling.

    I watched on social media yesterday how a revered influencer was made to feel like a gogo. Yet despite the stone throwing of the crowd she defended her calling. As if being called a gogo is a disgraceful thing, but in the context of the debate the agent provocateur with his crowd were bent on weakening her standing on social media. He didn’t succeed. In another context he would be praising the gogo as the backbone of society who brought her children through life despite oft insurmountable difficulties.
    Yes such is life.

    1. Social media makes it really eassy for cowards to stand firm behind their screen and bully folks that thy normally wouldn’t. You have to have thick skin in order to stay strong.

      I’m so glad that this particular person kept on despite the crowd.

      1. I know, but I’m not really cut out for it. I don’t know what gets into me to go and test the waters.

      3. I think people innately in love with their words. Some can drop it more skillfully than others and some just don’t care the Avenue or route they take the desire to express is simply there.

  6. I knew what my calling was when I was five. I didn’t chase after it because I thought it was above me. I started doing it for real ten years ago.
