Life has left her with scars from head to toe
Some will fade and some will be with her forever
The ones that she can cover are easy for her to cope with mentally
But it’s the ones that are left exposed that tears at her heart

Nice.. such poetry draws me in!
I like how you stretch out the words to stress a personal touch to the pain she bares. Because you’d agree that there might be a shorter version to express the same thoughts.
This is how I see it, more cause the stretch would sound great on spoken. (amplify the emotions, tone, sufferings).
Here’s what I mean… hope you don’t mind, Belladonna. . .
