For me, it was a breeze. I’ve been drawn to one movie in particular for about 28 years, and now my kids are in love with it too. I could keep National Lampoon’s Christmas on repeat all day and never get sick of it.
There aren’t many movies that can keep your interest throughout. It may start high, and then somewhere in the middle, it just loses me. OH, and your typical Christmas movies that always have to end with everyone now believing in Santa is just too much for me. I would rather stick a fork in my eye than watch that nonsense. Movies like that are all the same. You know what I mean~ one parent doesn’t believe in Santa and is a workaholic, and by the end, they believe more than anyone, and Santa has brought out the child in them. BLAH~BLAH~BLAH
Then there is Clark Griswold, who has that Christmas spirit but bad luck just follows this poor soul. That is until Cousin Eddie shows up and turns the mood around.
He’s just so classy… NOT!
But he has a great heart. The brain may not be fully charged, but his heart is.

Mine is It’s a Wonderful Life. I always love the thought that a person’s life was important no matter how insignificant it might appear. Also, I like to believe there are angles hanging around to help us out.

OMGoodness! National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation is MY favorite too! I can remember the first time I saw it when it was in theaters back in 1989 and I laughed until my side hurt! And it has never gotten old! And the “Shitter’s Full” part is one of the best parts in the movie, along with the “Hooter- Hotter, Nipply” part! Home Alone comes in at a close second.
