You Can Only Choose One (Video)

I would be honored if you all took the time to let me know if you prefer Manicotti or Lasagna!

Leave your answer in the comment section

I made both of them a few days ago for my husband’s birthday, and my family and I took a poll on which one was our favorite. I have cooked both of these a 100 times. At least that’s the way it feels. Needless to say, I get bored, so I have to figure out new ways to bring these meals back to life.

My husband absolutely loves Italian food, and well, me… not so much. I can take it or leave it.

So when he requested this,

I thought, “crap, here we go”.

I wanted to demand for him to choose something different. BUT it was his birthday, so I kept my mouth shut and searched for new ways to prep the two dishes.

If I cook something more than 4 times, I get bored. After the 4th time, I’m ready to kick that meal to the curb, unless it’s soup. Y’all know how much I love soup.

And so It Began

I reluctantly went into the kitchen, slowly opened the refrigerator door, and began looking at all the items sitting peacefully on the shelves. I saw that I had bacon, ricotta cheese, and a garden full of goodies in the back yard. And just like that I felt inspired to whip this dinner up with a new twist!

As I began making my dishes, I thought it would be fun to ask everyone which they prefer. After you watch my video come back and please let me know your answer.

  1. This is tough because I love, love lasagna but it also the only one that I’ve tried. I’m not a big pasta eater, so I don’t really opt for dishes like manicotti but yours looks really tasty! I’ll try it, then come back to let you know my final decision.😋

      1. I do all sorts of weird things to our food (I’m the resident chef in the household). Most of the time it works out. Most….

Usually it’s deconstructions, but occasionally it’s cuisine fusion because of the ingredients I have in the fridge. 🤣

        Good luck!

      2. Now that’s what cooking is all about! Have fun, throw ingredients together before they go bad. Sometimes I don’t have names for my meals. So I just make one up LOL

      1. You too beautiful 😍 I think I may stick to the red until I find that special someone for the bourbon 😉 send prince charming my way 😊 😀 lol 😆
