Start Over

Why is it that after one mess up, we are ready to call it quits?

Don’t let this be you. It’s okay to start over. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve woken up and said today I am starting over, and I will give life all I got!

I can’t help but get motivated when I think about how quickly the days pass. I remember the day that I stepped on the scale, and it READ 175. I thought to myself “How in the hell did this happen” I work out almost every day, and I eat relatively healthy except on my pizza Friday

Well, right at that moment, I wanted to pick up the scale and fling it outside my bedroom window. Here I am sitting here with my knees hurting and my thighs on fire from my previous workouts.
Then I look at my Fitbit, and the stats are on fire!

So why is the scale telling me lies?

That is enough to make me want to quit!

But instead, I start over. I leave yesterday right where it is, behind me. I put all my attention towards today and figure out what I need to do differently. Now by no means does this post limit you to just starting over when it comes to weight loss. This fits for every area of your life.

Every day is an opportunity to begin again!

The last thing you should do is give up on you. There is a world full of people that look for every reason in the world to go back to their old ways. So why join the already crowded space?

Brush yourself off and start new.

Take all the things that sabotaged your last journey and build off it. You deserve to get exactly what you want out of life. When I think about one of my dear friends that’s no longer with us, I get up. I know that if she was still here, she would love the opportunity and the chance to start over.

It’s okay if you have to wake up for the next 30 days and start over. There’s no shame in that!

So get up because today is a great day to start over.

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

  1. This is so motivating! We should definitely not give up when something goes wrong. Instead we should try to think of it as a learning experience and try to do better next time. Also you look amazing in that video!

    1. Right!!! Failing is good. We can correct our mistakes and be better than ever. Thank so much for saying that. I’m really enjoying doing these videos and giving people a free workout. ♥️ I’m going to post more this week!
