It’s easy to forget…..

How beautiful you are

How strong you are

How you are worthy of being loved and praised

You deserve everything your heart desires

You deserve to be happy

More often than not, I have first time clients that are at their lowest point emotionally. They feel like since they are overweight, they are unworthy. Feeling ashamed to eat in front of other people is an undeniable fear.

I’ve had several clients that fall victim to men mistreating them. Making them believe that because of their size, they will have a hard time finding anyone other than them. One client that I will never forget blamed herself for her husband’s infidelity. She began to feel less than when she saw him liking pictures of other women.

Tears rolled down her face as she expressed her feelings. Her heart was broke. Not because of him but because of how she saw herself.

At that moment, I knew I had to change my mission statement. My focus had to zero in on the internal makeup of my clients. It’s literally impossible to change your external if your internal want allow you to do so. I can tell you how beautiful you are over and over again, but if you don’t see it then it doesn’t matter what I see. My mission is to help as many women that I can see the beauty that they possess.

Being a size 6 doesn’t make you beautiful. Having long flowing hair down your back doesn’t make you beautiful. Having 10,000 likes on social media doesn’t make you beautiful. All that means is you are thin, you have long, hair and 10,000 people clicked a like button and kept scrolling to the next pic.

I am grateful that so many women have allowed me to remind them of who they are. Once they gained that internal love, they then acquired the passion to make the external more beautiful than it already was.

Amazingly, your desire for change grows once you stop comparing yourself to everyone, and just remember who you are. Loving yourself is a magical thing!
