Yesterday was one of those days and I needed something sweet. Saturday or Sunday is usually my day to have a cheat day. However, it doesn’t feel like cheating because I still do a light workout on Sunday and full cardio and strength training on Saturday.
Well enough about exercising!
Let’s chat about these brownies. So I found this recipe and I tweaked it a little and will definitely change it again. This go-round I found that the brownies were delicious but I need my brownie to not only be moist but a little thicker as well.
Next time I will double the recipe…
Keeping the exact recipe but with more of a BITE!
I forgot to mention what I loved most about making these brownies… You only need one bowl and that makes for an easy cleanup. This was rather refreshing for me because I’m used to melting my butter and chocolate bar in low heat. Then stirring slowly for 5 to 10 minutes.
ITEMS NEEDED
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 20 minutes
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup dark cocoa powder
- Sprinkle of salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup of warm melted butter ( make sure it is very warm when added to the dry mixture)
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup of flour
- 1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips ( or whatever you desire to put on top)
Now I could bore you with step by step details or you can just watch my video Bakery Style Brownies
