Sometimes all you have is 30 minutes to workout. Trust me, that is more than enough time to wake up your muscles and get that metabolism going. You just have to set out a plan and attack.
If all you have is 30 minutes, then that means you don’t have time to check Instagram or any other social media while working out. You don’t have time to chit chat with your friends. You only have time for those weights, cardio bursts, and a few sips of water in between each set.
Now don’t get me wrong I like to chat it up just as much as the next person. But when I have a short window to get my workout in then, I am all business.
When I am training alone or with a client, I always have my weights beside me.
Why? Because this is the one way that I will burn fat and wake up my metabolism. The older we get, the more significant push we need to keep those unwanted pounds off of our bodies. Now when I tell you to use weights I, am not telling you to max out. Choose a weight that you can continuously push up for 10-15 reps or a minute each.
Keep in mind you are trying to get in and out of the gym, so five reps are not going to get you to where you want to be. That’s why choosing the right weight is highly necessary! We are looking for constant slow motions and not quick burnouts.
