Day 11 of 30
Mind, Body, and Soul Transformation
You’re as strong as your last workout!
Your main goal with any workout should be the refusal to waste time. Doing an exercise that doesn’t challenge you is a waste of time. Now I’m not saying that you have to work out at that level every day, but maybe 3 or 4 days would be sufficient for you.
But here’s the thing during these challenging times we all need to push our bodies in ways that we didn’t know they could be pushed!
Why “you ask”?
Glad you did. Upping your workout level is just as important mentally as it is physically. When you increase your level of activity, such as running or a cardio-based workout, your body releases endorphins. For me, I’m left feeling high and invincible. Then the rest of the day, I’m happy and feeling positive.
This past fall, my husband and I watched this show called “Euphoria,” Zindaya was the main character and, she stayed high the whole time…lovely show. No, really, it was. She, as well as other teens, reached the euphoric feeling throughout the season. It was quite eye-opening for my husband and I since we have teenagers.
My point is a workout high is often called euphoric. The difference in reaching this feeling by working out versus drugs is that you won’t need to visit a treatment center.
But if you workout and give it all you have, you will produce endorphins that will make you happy. Sitting around watching the news or listening to the president, babble will not help you mentally. So put the remote down and go take a run, pop in that Beachbody workout or turn on youtube and find a free program that looks interesting to you.
There are 1000’s of different workouts you can do on youtube. They range from yoga to dancing, to HIIT (Hgh Intensity Interval Training). Pick out something fun that your whole family can do together or keep the fun to yourself.
Just do something so your lousy attitude can be turned around, and you stop getting on your family member’s nerve.
Be well, my friends, and continue to be as strong as your last workout!
You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!
