Day 10 of 30
Mind, Body and Soul Transformation
Let me start by saying that I love my family. They are beautiful human beings.
But……. if they ask me what’s for dinner one more time, I will politely put on my boxing gloves and knock them all out!
I’m trying to live my best quarantine life, but my crew won’t let me. As soon as they see me, they instantly get hungry, and I just want to grab a snack and get away from them as quickly as possible. But those little critters rush and are right on my heels.
I try to make my life easier by preparing the type of breakfast that will last for a few days. That way, I don’t have to hear their loud mouths while I’m making my coffee. But it’s like they inhale the pancakes, waffles, or whatever and sneak off to their rooms. Then come back 30 minutes later hungrier than ever.
I love to cook, but this is wearing on me!
Counseling service for overworked moms might be a necessity when this is all over. Not to mention an order for new pots and pans are going to be a must.
Okay, I promised myself that I wouldn’t complain about the things going on through quarantine. I feel so blessed that so far, all is well. My husband is still employed as well as myself. My oldest daughter is planning her high school graduation party. Well, truth is she’s helping me plan for it.
Either way, we are pushing forward and feeling blessed that her graduation was rescheduled for late July. Plus, her prom is back on for late June. So we can pass the time away by shopping for beautiful prom dresses as well as applying for more college scholarships.
Well, I ‘m off to cook and listen to my family chew….where did I put my boxing gloves?
You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!
