I think it is just human nature to want to love and to be loved. I’ve never met anyone that longs to grow old alone. Well, maybe if you are a priest or a nun, but that’s another topic for another time.
The enjoyment of being in someone’s company can be the sweetest thing and having that sense of urgency to get up in the morning and check for that good morning text.
New love is like moving in slow motion. Every breath is deep and exaggerated, every blink of the eye is slow and barely happening. Your fixated on this one person and hanging on to every word. Everything else around you is at a standstill.
Every spoken word just gets better and better, and you’re thinking to yourself, I just met the most intelligent man on the planet. He’s touching your hand as he looks into your eyes and tells you, “you’re beautiful, and I can’t believe how perfect you are.”
You give a soft embarrassing chuckle because he caught you off guard and accepting compliments isn’t your strongest suit.
You’re a little too overwhelmed to say thank you, but you say it anyway. Then your shyness that you didn’t know you had overtakes you and makes you do a look away. Because looking into his eyes at that point is out of the question.
For the rest of the night, you’re hoping that he won’t all of a sudden catch one of the many flaws that you claim to have.
You’re trying not to laugh too much because who wants to be that girl. You know that dingy laugh that you do and you’re like wait, I don’t think that was something to laugh at.
Now you just feel stupid and you should!
Always remain strong in who you are. Own it, you can show that soft side without dropping your IQ. You are a strong woman so don’t lose that because once you do it’s hard to get it back. Remain in your truth.
Your Strength Is What Caught His Eye
