Operation Get Your Life Together

Do you feel like your life is a mess? I’m talking about you and you alone. Not your children or your husband, just you.

If you said yes, then know that you aren’t alone.

As women, sometimes we get lost in the game called life, and we often find ourselves looking for that woman we use to know. Sadly, so much time has passed, and because of that, we are clueless about what we are looking for.

The clueless state then leads us to over examining the things we hate about ourselves. You guys, I am the queen at this. I will list all the things I dislike about me and then get overwhelmed with the list, and I immediately feel like giving up on me.

So listen up!!!


Instead of writing out a hit list and targeting all of your flaws, begin focusing on one thing that you want to tweak. That one thing has to be your core, the center of what will make you come alive. My core is fitness.

When I start attacking my eating habits and my workouts, I instantly feel like I can take on any challenge.  But not only that, I’m a more delightful person to be around, and I’m fun. I mean, I’m fun all the time, but when I’m healthy, I’m fun fun. So for me, that’s my center, and fitness is my key to obtaining positive mental health.

Now tell me about you. What’s your center? What is the one thing that will make you feel powerful and will start forcing you to put yourself back on the high priority list? While you are finding your center remember that you are worthy of being on the list because when mom is happy, everyone is happy. Let’s face it. No one wants to be around a grumpy, fussy mom that takes her frustrations out on everyone in the house.
