Sound the alarm right now! I have some news that will change your life. Stop whatever you are doing and listen up about how to shake off that extra weight.
If you are anything like me, then you have tried every diet known to man. I was always ready to risk it all as soon as I heard someone say, “oh girl, I just started this new diet, and I am losing fast.” I didn’t care what it was; all I know is I heard it was the word FAST.
Then after a few days, I was so sick of all the limitations that came with this new diet. So like so many of us do, I gave up and went back to my old ways. I would go to the gym and workout like a madwoman and then go home and eat whatever I wanted.
Now I say whatever I wanted, but that doesn’t mean that because I worked out, I had the right to do that. I DID NOT have that right. By practicing that bad habit, my weight would always remain the same. By going to the gym, I did precisely enough to just maintain.
Maintaining was not my goal, but definitely my new norm.
I desperately wanted to change this, and guess what? I did it, and I want you to do it too. So are you ready to walk in the right direction and eat your favorite foods, workout for at least 30 minutes a day? But guess what else I’m going to force you to do?
If you said to get more rest, then you nailed it. Your body is begging for you to sleep a little longer and stress a little less. Your body is crying and begging you for consistency in every area of your life. Which includes and not limited to, being fed at the same time every day and just like gremlins we need a cut off time for feeding!
So no more hesitations and let me hear you, SOUND THE ALARM
