Let me share with you my current situation in the hope that it will help you have a better day. Okay, so my day started with me in a mood of all moods. I swear there were horns on my head when I looked in the mirror this morning.
Have you ever woke up that angry?
I’m talking, let somebody look at me wrong or even remotely say the wrong thing type of angry.
But right before I touched my doorknob, I stopped. I stood still and then dropped to my knees to began to pray. I refuse to spread bad vibes throughout the house.
I looked at all the things that God has blessed me with and the upward direction my life is going. So I said not today or any other day will I allow stress to remove my joy.
If you are having a bad day, stop and ask yourself why and figure out a way to turn it around. For me, all I need to do is turn on music and choreograph a modern dance. I then remember who I am, and that steers me in a productive direction. For you, it may not be a contemporary dance, but it is something. You just have to dig deep and find it. Once you do, don’t let it go. HOLD on to it like your life depends on it.
Remembering that life is short is vital to having good days. There isn’t any room in our lives for dwelling in the hopelessness that will call stress.
So stress I say to you, “Go on a long vacation because you are no longer needed.”
My good days out way my bad days, and for that I’m grateful!
