Abs Are Made In The Kitchen

I can not tell you enough how frustrating it is to go to the gym everyday and workout like a machine and then come home day after day and look to see if I have abs yet. I mean come on what does a girl have to do to get a little love in the ab department. Do I Need to draw them in? Seems like the only way I’ll have one.

Or I can stand against the fence like these guys… Sounds like a good idea to me.

Okay, I know I can’t stand against the fence forever, so I had to come up with a plan. A plan that I could make my forevermore plan not just a two week or a two-month program. I needed something so good that it could take over my life.

Way too often we go to extreme measures to lose weight, like fasting, and then we put the weight right back on.  Then there are all sorts of low carb diets. I mean the list goes on and on and on. Trust me, I have tried them all, and none of them worked for a substantial amount of time.

Mostly because they just jumped started for my weightloss journey. But none of the diets were pleasing enough to do for the rest of my life. But when I learned to have balance,  my abs changed.

If you are anything like me and love to cook, travel, and try all types of foods and desserts, then you have come to the right fitness/everything blog. I encourage everyone to work out with weights and still eat your favorite foods in moderation. You have to learn how to cook and not rely so heavily on outside already prepared food. You honestly need to spend more time and energy on food prep and reading the back of labels than you do going to the gym. I’ve noticed that with age, my focus is more on what I’m putting in my body. Your abs will develop more efficiently if you become conscious about eating more greens, raw vegetables, and drinking up to a gallon of water a day or at least half your body weight.

It’s funny how you feel hungry, and the first thing we do is go looking for that yummy snack, but you may be hydrated and need to fill up on water. That little discovery will also help you discover your long lost abs. There are so many ways you can gain a six-pack, but if push comes to shove then just stand against a fence.

You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored.
