Date Night Behavior

I’m usually not the type of person to take pictures. I mean I enjoy capturing the moment as long as I am not in the pictures. However, over the years I have grown accustomed to the camera and I LOVE the new me. I’m no longer looking in the mirror and wanting to change something but I’m embracing who I am and acknowledging that my flaws are a positive reflection of who I am. Therefore, they are no longer my flaws but they are my strengths.

I preach to my clients all the time about loving yourself and feeling good in the skin your in. But I wasn’t living up to my own message. I would look at myself in the mirror and pick out the worse thing about me and have that ruin my mood. My friends this a terrible existence. You are not living if you are hating who you or constantly picking out what you consider to be flawed. Oh and please know that no one will want to be in your company if you make complaining about yourself a habit.

So do what I did this weekend

Embrace who you are and strike a pose. Learn to love you and not criticize yourself.

I’m proud to announce that I no longer hide behind the camera

Case in point, over the weekend I had the chance to wear this comfy and stylish dress. I received so many compliments and well let me just say compliments usually make me uneasy and terribly uncomfortable. But I took every compliment and ran with it.  I can not wait to wear my other pieces from Shyful. I am in love with this company and my stride on Saturday night showed it.

You could have chosen to read any blog but you chose mine and I’m honored!
